Vivian Horan Fine Art is pleased to present an exhibition of mirror paintings by Michelangelo Pistoletto (b. 1933, Italy). Starting in 1962 and continuing today, these works, which form the foundation of all that he does, enable Pistoletto to play with the relationship between artist and viewer: the audience is not able to be passive.

There have been numerous group and solo exhibitions, as well as retrospectives, including the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Walker Art Center, Minneapolis, the Louvre, Paris, the Palazzo Grassi,Venice and the Palais des Beaux Arts, Brussels. He participated in the Venice Biennale twelve times and in Documenta four.
